Activities Requiring Permits
A permit will still be required, however, if you are converting one of the following wetland types to pine plantation:
- permanently flooded, intermittently exposed, and semi-permanently flooded wetlands,
- riverine bottomland hardwood wetlands,
- white cedar swamps,
- Carolina bay wetlands,
- non-riverine forest wetlands,
- pocosin wetlands,
- wet marl forests,
- tidal freshwater marshes, or
- maritime grasslands, shrub swamps, and swamp forests.
